So many of you have asked about the Enclave trimming and weeding schedules.  I believe I posted this nearly a year ago, but it’s worth revisiting.

 

In short, we should be getting both trimming and weeding done monthly.  The attached map shows the areas and when the work should be done.  The week of the month, and day in the week is how this has been created.  For example, if your home is in the yellow section, the trimming/weeding should be done during the first week of the month, on the second day of the week, depending on weather.  

Everyone needs to remember that in reality, weeding only once a month in the summer will not keep your beds completely weed-free, and the standard under which Juniper is operating is “relatively weed free”.  

In my household, we’ve decided to buy a couple gallons of weed killer and supplement what we get from Juniper.  Lowe’s and Home Depot have this for about $10.  I know there are many who still cling to the Power sales pitch that we are a “maintenance free” community and think that we are not getting what we were promised.  I can tell you that we are getting exactly the services for which we are contracted.  

That said, things can and do fall through the cracks.  Juniper is not perfect and if you have issues with your landscaping, continue to report them to Clem for investigation.
